We have a temporary assignment available for a FinancialAnalyst in Jersey City. This assignment has Monday-Friday hours, starts as soon as possible and lasts 3 months. The ideal candidate has very strong project management, financial modeling, analysis, and problem solving skills. An excellent understanding of finance and accounting principles is essential.


  • Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates with business partners
  • Reviewing monthly actuals and creating variance analysis to present to business leaders
  • Leveraging monthly results analysis to identify risks and opportunities to the annual plan and forecast
  • Providing analytical support for evaluation of new ideas
  • Assisting senior management as necessary
  • Working with other teams to ensure proper expense accounting


  • 2+ years finance experience
  • Knowledge of NetSuite financial system preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

Corporate Risk Finance The Jersey City based External Regulatory Risk Reporting group is responsible for firm-wide risk reporting and analysis in support of critical regulatory requirements to the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC). The Risk Reporting Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to support a host of critical and dynamic deliverables for the Firm. As part of the External Risk Reporting team, the ideal candidate will work closely with Risk and Finance groups within the firm, as well as line of business credit and financial teams. Successful candidates will drive process improvements, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and reduce cycle time. Roles & Responsibilities: As an External Risk Reporting Senior Analyst the ideal candidate will: * Have the opportunity liaise with Credit Executives in support of the Legal lending Limits monitoring process for the firm, critical to JPMC compliance with the 12 CFR regulations * Work with regulators and internal stakeholders alike on the implementation of new Top 50 Counterparty reporting requirements including analytical review and operating model development. * Have a marked impact on strategic process improvement through the identification, tracking, and resolution of data quality issues. Qualifications/Skills – MILITARY PATHWAYS PROGRAM Interested Candidates must be a United States Military Veteran and meet all requirements * Enlisted/Junior Officer Background and 4+ years of experience * Military leadership experience, typically achieved through 4+ years as a Commissioned or 5+ years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in any branch of service with a demonstrated record of success * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant discipline * 0-5 years of separation from service * Ability to understand business drivers and requirements and influence partners to deliver solutions to business issues and problems * Strong analytical and financial skills with a proven track record of execution * Acute attention to detail and control driven mindset * Strong communications skills both written and verbal * A developed leadership presence capable of effective messaging to colleagues, regulators and management alike. * Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time within tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel; Access & PowerPoint) and with large amounts of data * Strong team player who can work well and build partnerships with colleagues of various levels, across multiple locations Jpmorgan Chase & Co.
