About the job:
We have an amazing opportunity in our Broomfield office for a committed Finance Analyst.
Partner with Marketing and other key project team members to provide Profit & Loss analysis for new project innovation.
Complete innovation reporting to FP&A on a quarterly basis to track actual and forecasted innovation metrics.
Responsible for maintaining innovation reporting by project in Innovation tracking tool and updating financials for audits throughout the year.
Create models to provide financial insights enabling business leaders to evaluate new business ventures and/or changing business paradigms in an efficient way
Serve as a financial partner to business leaders by organizing financial information in a manner that facilitates strategic business planning
Effectively communicate innovation performance and key business drivers to senior management
Assist in preparing materials for senior management on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Create business cases as needed for, but not limited to, new manufacturing lines, new business propositions, and/or line extensions
Provide financial analysis on an ad hoc basis to management and field sales team
Proactively manage process, meetings and calendars to ensure timeliness and efficiency of budget and month end procedures
Grow your people and yourself!
You have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA or advanced business-related degree preferred
You have a minimum of 4+ years of progressive financial analysis and/or accounting experience required
You have CPG experience preferred, not required
Proven ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement
Your MS Excel skill set is advanced - required
You have strong financial modeling skills - required
You understand GAAP and SAP
You understand Manufacturing processes preferred
You are a strong problem-solver and excellent communications skills
