The ACH AP Specialist is responsible for making sure the data given to setup the ACH process for landlords and suppliers is accurate. They are also responsible for verifying with the banking institutions that the account numbers given are not fraudulent. This role works closely with the JLL lease admin teams, cash management team and the client finance teams.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Reviews listings of landlords and or suppliers to assist in setting up the ACH process
Verifying by phone with the banking institutions that all accounts are not fraudulent
Entering all ACH bank account information into the payment processing software
Responds timely to employee, supplier and landlord inquiries regarding mailings, remittance advices, and bank account information
Assists timely via the Zendesk ticketing system
Provides appropriate periodic reporting to finance teams
Assists as needed with employee training
Suggests policy changes or enhancements to management
Notifies management of habitual offenders, fraud or other items, regardless of who committed the policy infraction
Performs other duties as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High-school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) and two to four years related experience
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practice, and procedures for expense report auditing and/or AP
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access
Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Works well in a team environment
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with external vendors as necessary
Ability to work overtime if needed
