The team

The Transformation group is a small internal consulting group that supports the Deloitte CFO in executing strategic initiatives. Some examples of these initiatives include leading a Finance Transformation for global Deloitte firms, assessing the Finance & Administration's organizational structure and strategic priorities, identifying and implementing digital finance solutions, and helping the Deloitte businesses achieve predictable, profitable growth.

Work you'll do

You will be assisting managers and senior managers in the Transformation group who support Finance strategic initiatives. These initiatives are high visibility projects sponsored by the Deloitte CFO and his staff to help Finance achieve its long-term goals. Specific tasks will include creating PowerPoint presentations to communicate various aspects of the initiatives to senior Deloitte leadership, both within FA as well as other functions. You may also develop, own and modify detailed Excel models to conduct what-if analyses and perform other analytical tasks. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate both in person and in a virtual environment with staff, managers and senior managers across multiple Deloitte functions and geographies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Comfort with ambiguity along with the ability to assist in logically structuring issues and resolutions

  • Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter

  • Demonstrated strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality

Preferred

  • Strong academic track record (preferred minimum 3.2 GPA).

How you'll grow
