We're looking for interns to join our Finance & Accounting Intern Program (FIP) at Snap Inc! As a member of the FIP, you will participate in a 10 week undergraduate program designed to provide current college students with a cross-functional, developmental experience within the Finance and Accounting functions at Snap Inc. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you'll collaborate with the team by participating in projects as well as formal training and other networking designed to educate you on Snap's business and the role finance plays within our company.

Selected applicants will set goals for their internship that align with company strategy and allow for accelerated development, growth, and learning. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will apply for available Analyst positions within Snap Finance.

What you'll do:

  • Own a project or workstream within the finance organization, specific to one of the following teams: Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Financial Operations, and Business Support Finance

  • Strengthen your accounting and financial skills through day to day operational tasks as well as participating in key projects

  • Build communication, leadership, presentation, writing, and other professional and management skills

  • Be provided ongoing development, leadership insights, and direction to help make your two-year program even more valuable

  • Upon completion, graduates are provided the option to stay in their current group if a position is available or interview for positions that utilize their strengths and enhanced skills in both finance and as a leader

Minimum qualifications:

  • Current candidates working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business, BS in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics, or similar field

  • Strong academic record, with a minimum 3.5 GPA

Preferred qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in Excel

  • Strong accounting/finance knowledge

  • Ability to work across and up and down a dynamic organization

  • Planning to sit for CPA a plus

  • Prior experience working in a business environment

  • Ability to work under pressure, often in a deadline driven environment, and ability to perform several tasks concurrently

  • Must possess excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills and superior attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

JOB SUMMARY Manages the day-to-day operation of the accounting office and assists the property Director of Finance and Accounting in providing financial leadership to the business. Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control. Assists with capital expenditure plans (Return On Investment Analysis), owner relations and owner reporting.
