ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support the monthly forecasting, close, and reconciliation process.

  • Help to create and review department forecasts and perform budget variance analysis.

  • Provide day-to-day support to plant controllers and business partnerships to control commercial finance, commissions, sales operations, and shared services teams.

  • Prepare and enter journal entries; assist in reconciling ERPs to consolidation systems.

  • Assist in reconciling ERPs to consolidation systems.

  • Analyze daily cash balances and forecast receipts and payments.

  • Utilize Power BI tools to analyze performance and provide insights.

  • Contribute to management reporting and audit processes.

  • Maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Assist with fixed asset and physical inventories; perform inventory cycle counting.

  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

  • Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Enrolled as a rising junior, senior preferred, undergraduate student.

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, International Business, or a related field.

  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.

  • Statistics: Interpret and analyze numerical data using statistical methods.

JOB SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel.

  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Finance/Accounting within a manufacturing environment.

  • Adaptable and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including working effectively in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, and keyboarding. According to ADA regulations, reasonable accommodation will be provided to ensure that individuals with disabilities can perform the job's essential functions.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.

  • Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.

  • Hearing protection in specific locations.

  • Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
