Finance Account Transfer Specialist

Our client in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Finance Professional to join their team as an Account Transfer Specialist. The Account Transfer Specialist will process incoming and outgoing client requests to bring in new accounts and send out existing accounts. This position requires a high level of organization and detail orientation, as well as the ability to reassess priorities in a multitasking environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a brokerage firm.

Position Responsibilities May Include:

• Conducting cost basis research
• Communicating with Brokerage and Trust departments regarding incoming and outgoing transfer requests
• Accurately entering data into corporate system
• Asset setup and allocation
• Maintaining consistent Quality Control
• Working with Account Custodians

Education:

• A BA/BS is required; degree in Finance is strongly preferred.

Experience:

• One to two years of work at a Brokerage Firm

Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel.
• Working knowledge of Access or Bloomberg a plus.
