Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a Final Year-Graduate level Clinical Intern (unpaid) for the In Home Therapy program at our Worcester site.
The In-Home Therapy team provides strength-based therapy to families, children, and youth under 21 years old who have significant behavioral health needs. The therapist, in collaboration with the Therapeutic Support & Training staff, provides intense and flexible family therapy in the home/community setting with the purpose of improving the youth and family's functioning in the home setting.
This position is wonderful opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team and gain therapeutic and clinical skills working with youth and families, as well as having exposure to working with multiple behavioral and child welfare systems. This position provides supportive supervision and energetic work environment as well as some flexibility in creating your own schedule.
Weekly clinical supervision to meet clinical licensing requirements
Work related travel reimbursement
Some flexible hours (during weekdays)
Provide weekly family, parent and child therapy in the home/community.
Conduct comprehensive home based behavioral assessment including the CANS and treatment planning
Participate in care coordination tasks (meetings, collateral communication, etc)
Attends staff supervision, meetings and trainings as required.
Follow CHL protocols.
2-3 days of weekday evening availability needed (up until 8pm)
Car required as travel is part of this position
Currently enrolled in Graduate degree program in social work, counseling or related field and are a 2nd/final year student.
Current degree program is on clinical license track (LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
Experience working with children, adolescents and families with behavioral, social and/or emotional difficulties.
Comfortable providing home/community-based services.
Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to work independently and ability to contribute to team objectives
Demonstrated strong communication skills.
Ability to use a computer-based information system.
Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered and insured automobile for work-related purposes
Must be able to pass a CORI background check
