Incentives: This position will receive a sign-on bonus after 90 days, a yearly ANNUAL BONUS and PTO and Sick time. Our benefits start day one, through a known global health service leader.

Day to Day:

• The Final Machinist I will produce production parts by setting up and using a variety of machines: Lathes, mills, grinders, and saws. They will operate the equipment to make fixtures, machine new parts, rework old parts, cut material to size, and perform any other machining work required. 1st Shift!!!
• Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining center s to fabricate parts.
• Verifies that manufactured parts are within specification and tolerance. Repairs previously made parts by reworking them as required. Determines type and dimensions of material needed for repairs.
• Makes necessary adjustments to equipment.
• Performs minor maintenance on and lubricates machine tools and equipment. Other machining duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma and or technical school is required.

Experience in a manufacturing environment and machining experience some experience is preferred, but will train the right individual.

• Familiarity with handling compressed gasses and flammable liquids would be an advantage, not required, but preferable.
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience using measuring tools and gages
• Self-motivated, hands-on individual with interest in learning quickly and applying new skills.
• Strong attention to detail
