We are seeking a Final Assembler to join our team! Under general supervision, installs manufactured and purchased parts, jackets, equipment, and controls on burners and boilers. Makes interconnections between burners, accessories and controls, including piping, tubing and conduit. Performs wiring between burner, control panel and controls, in accordance with wiring diagrams or other specifications.
This is a full-time, union-hourly position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the above requirements, this individual will be required, at times, to possess, troubleshoot, repair, or maintain the following:
Obtains blue print and reviews print or other pertinent data with supervision for location of controls or special request items.
Obtains, from stock: fittings, and controls required. Uses stock nipples, pipe fittings, valves and specialties when applicable.
Pre-assembles gas train and control panel and bends aluminum tubing.
Install baffles and heat exchanger wrapper using proper supplies to ensure proper fit and water tight.
Install jacket on lower part (heat exchanger).
Install burner, gas mixer, gas train, etc. to complete combustion area.
Completes upper jacket assembly.
Install carton and trim carton for final shipment.
Performs related work as directed, commensurate with this or lesser rated labor grades

Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to use and understand measuring devices
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates.
Utilize computers, scanners and printers as required
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
