Job Description:
Pestie is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as our Filling Line Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquid filling line, ensuring the efficient and accurate filling, packaging, and labeling of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily set up and operation of the complete filling and packaging lines, including the bottle filler, capper, weight inspector, labeler, lot coder, and pouching machines.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols and safety procedures to maintain the highest standards of product quality and workplace safety.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of individual machines to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Train team members on proper standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust equipment settings as needed to meet production targets and customer demand.
• Maintain accurate written and electronic records of production activities, including daily production reports and equipment maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with our warehouse team and vendoers to address any issues or concerns related to production efficiency or product quality.
• Lead by example, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with specific experience in liquid filling operations preferred.

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and safety regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to train and motivate team members.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office suite and production management software.
