The FileNet Systems Engineer will be responsible for the overall administration, systems management, and operational support of the FileNet production and DR environments for the Genworth US Mortgage Insurance business. In this role, you will report to the Senior IT Infrastructure Program Manager.


  • You will operate and maintain the FileNet environment and dependent technology platforms, including Linux, VMware, Data Encryption, Storage Systems, Document Management platform, and Document Viewing applications

  • You will partner with development and architecture teams to implementing the FileNet solution strategy for Genworth Mortgage Insurance

  • You will support and contribute to innovation roadmaps, maintenance schedules, life cycle plans, and capacity plans for the FileNet environment and related dependent technologies

  • You will support and implement tasks and technologies in support of IT projects, business projects, and IT roadmap initiatives

  • You will manage the day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for the FileNet environment, including off hours support during critical outages or planned maintenance (part of a rotational team of on-call staff)

  • You will identify inefficiencies, gaps and issues, and drive the analysis and documentation of technical requirements for enterprise FileNet architecture, guiding adoption of and adherence to standard operating procedures

  • You will be responsible for licensing and entitlement management of the FileNet environment, including growth and capacity planning

  • You will provide Disaster Recovery solutions as it relates to the FileNet environment by developing and maintaining a library of procedures for disaster recovery documentation

  • You will be responsible for performance tuning and providing a high availability for FileNet and Document Viewer environments to eliminate single points of failure

  • You will manage incidents, service requests, and change tasks in the ITSM system of record; with ownership, and escalation of issues through resolution

  • You will partner with the corporate data center team to complete maintenance, build, and support activities in support of the FileNet Environment and related technologies

  • You will be available for backup and on-call rotational support once every six weeks for infrastructure technologies managed by the IT Infrastructure Services team

  • You will provide scripting, automation, and orchestration to drive efficiencies within IT operations


  • 5+ years architecting, implementing, operating, and supporting FileNet technologies

  • Your experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server / IBM HTTP Server

  • Your experience with Document Viewers and integrations with FileNet

  • Your experience with WebSphere performance monitoring/tuning

  • Your familiarity with web applications and web services, including strong understanding of APIs, SSL certificate management (java keytool / IBM iKeyman), Postman, and IIS web configuration

  • Your experience administering RedHat/CentOS Linux

  • Your experience with Container/DevOps technologies, including Docker, Jenkins, GIT

  • Your experience configuring and supporting FileNet in a high availability configuration

  • Your experience configuring and supporting persistent and non-persistent virtual desktop solutions based on Microsoft Windows and Linux CentOS operating systems

  • Your experience managing incidents, problems, requests, changes, within case management platforms


  • Your bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field

  • Your experience providing operational support for a large FileNet environment

  • Professional certifications for the role:

  • IBM FileNet Certified

  • IBM WebSphere Certified

  • Your experience with ServiceNow

Wells Fargo Technology's Information Security team is looking for an Applications Systems Engineer (ASE) to join our Cyber Threat Engineering Team (CTE) as part of the Cyber Threat Management (CTM) organization. The position provides technical consultation, support, and custom development for Wells Fargo's incident response, patch & vulnerability reporting tools. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to create original, and update existing, security control content. Verifies program logic to provide quality assurance by: overseeing the preparation of test data, creating test plans, participating in overall systems testing, and debugging of solutions for CTE, including updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Develops new documentation, procedures, troubleshooting and user guides. Responsible for following work flow processes, reporting, and peer reviews. Is available as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, in resolution of escalated production issues or system problems. May provide guidance and direction to less experienced and non-technical team members. The ideal candidate will work with an existing team of content engineers to develop solutions that combat or detect cyber threats that are in existence or emerging. Solutions that supports Wells Fargo's cyber security strategies with regards to vulnerability & exploit research, control gap testing, attack simulation, and proactively identifying indicators of compromise (IOCs) that can help deter cyber-based attacks against Wells Fargo and its business operations and subsidiaries. The person selected will be required to make informed and data driven decision of emerging technologies that can further enhance the platform. Specifically, the position develops custom content, module configurations, and rules, that provide high fidelity information for security event creations and risk mitigation. Content and solutions may include: cross-platform scripts or sensors, data transformation scripts, rules for endpoint detection & response, file integrity monitoring, plus configurations for file indexing, process recording, and compliance. Additionally, partners with CTE infrastructure/operations team to promote content and configurations to test and productions environments.
