Job Description
The File Clerk / Data Entry Clerk position is responsible for maintaining databases by entering new and updated information as well as providing administrative support to the NANA Construction Accounting and Procurement Department.
This position is based out of Big Lake headquarters
Responsibilities
Logs, compiles, organizes, processes, and summarizes many different types of data.
Operates or performs such standard office duties such as producing general office written or electronic correspondence, handling a variety of telephone and office equipment, observing proper procedures to handle records or other materials. Enter paperwork in electronic system either by data entry of by using optical scanners.
Operates in a climate of confidentiality requiring discretion.
Assists others with overflow work or special projects.
Will assist in the preparation of documents affecting the functioning of the assigned area.
Will utilize specialized computer systems and applications with unique applications being used at the discretion of the department. This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year administrative, clerical, data entry or related experience.
Must be able to type 50 wpm.
Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
Intermediate skillset with Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
Basic understanding of database and filing systems.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Great attention to detail.
Must be able to perform each of the essential duties listed above with a professional degree of competency.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
