Psomas, one of the top-ranked consulting engineering firms in the nation, providing surveying, engineering, construction management and environmental services throughout the Western United States, has an opening for a Field/Office Engineer to support our construction management team in our Tucson Office.
The Field/Office Engineer serves as an assistant to the Construction Manager/Resident Engineer in the field to help develop and maintain the project administration records and perform some construction inspection.
Typical duties may involve processing monthly estimate payments, maintaining various project logs, photographic documentation of the project, labor compliance, managing material records, daily and monthly reports, assisting with project quantity documents
Projects will involve the construction of highways, roadways, bridges and related transportation infrastructure.
Duties may also include performing construction inspection of roadway, bridge, or water/wastewater construction work in a field inspector capacity
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related educational background
Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
Working experience as an office engineer for ADOT projects
Prior construction or construction management experience
