As the Field Warehouse Coordinator, you will perform a variety of inspection, order picking, receiving, shipping and housekeeping tasks in accordance with defined job processes with a focus on safety and quality in a 24-hour Logistics Center. You interact with the computer system to perform assigned functions, as well as comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. You will provide constructive input to improve the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the achievement of Field Logistics objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Check-in loaner implant sets to include: scanning inventory, completing inventory transfers and returns, ordering replacement parts, and sorting mixed sets

  • Check-in loaner instrument sets to include: performing visual inspection and functional checks using established criteria sheets, ensure all required instruments are present in set, order replacements parts when necessary

  • Assist in receiving incoming sets and sorting to appropriate holding locations

  • Receive in loose finished goods inventory and put to stock or match with appropriate sets

  • Complete shipping functions to include: forwarding and issuing sets to customer, communicating incomplete set information to customer service, assembling packing lists, and completing shipping manifest

  • Generate product complaints as necessary

  • Communicate with other company departments regarding product dispositions and potential problems

  • Perform warehouse transactions in Optimize

  • Ensure compliance to procedures that apply to the loaner area

  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements for the loaner packaging inspection area

  • Assist with expired product inspection

  • Support the business by being available on an on-call basis as needed

  • Perform housekeeping duties as directed to maintain a safe and clean working environment

  • Execute all safety policies, rules and regulations, including adherence to PPE requirements (i.e., steel toed shoes)

  • Maintain LC equipment and materials in a safe, neat, clean, and orderly fashion

  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods

  • Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately upon discovery to Supervisor/Safety Coordinator


  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum four (4) years' relevant work experience required

  • Experience in a high-volume Logistics Operation preferred

  • Loaner process/program experience preferred

  • Medical Device sector/industry experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and perform simple math, count accurately, and read and write legibly

  • Experience following policies, SOPs, regulations and legal requirements required

  • Requires ability to perform repetitive physical requirements including: lifting up to 50lbs, constant standing/walking on concrete floors, and bending/twisting/squatting

  • Experience with AS400 and/or Optimize WCS (warehouse control system) preferred

  • Requires working knowledge of MS Office

  • 5S or Lean experience, training, or certification is helpful

  • Location & Travel Required: Located in Richmond, VA, with up to 10% domestic travel

Job Description Summary: Warehouse Manager The Warehouse Manager position contributes to the success of a warehouse or manufacturing location for PepsiCo. The Warehouse Manager coordinates the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse by designing and developing product movement and storage systems, improving operations, and supporting the front line staff. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts. This individual is responsible for managing numerous shifts in either a union or non-union environment and developing a team of supervisors.
