Field Trainer with DRB Systems

DRB Systems is a growing and vibrant software company in need of a Field Trainer. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to help our organization succeed. The Field Trainer is responsible for the implementation of, training our customers on, and the support of DRB Systems/Unitec & NoPileups products to its customers.

What will our Field Trainer do?

  • Performs onsite implementation and support of DRB Systems/Unitec & NoPileups products.

  • Provides onsite training and operational direction to customers on the use of products.

  • Provides training, remotely, to various customer audiences.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by providing timely troubleshooting assistance.

  • Completes projects assigned to and including but not limited to customer in house set up, customized requests, writing of product documentation, and testing of equipment.

  • Provides software support via telephone with the aid of computers, software, test equipment and fax machines.

  • Maintain current knowledge of products.

  • Plays a key role in new product planning and release processes.

  • Assists in the development of new hire trainees.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

The right candidate will have:

  • Education: Associate degree in Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred. Or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of previous experience in a call center, support role or hardware installation.

  • Computer Skills:
    Windows XP and Windows 7 knowledge s.

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid United States Driver's license. Auto Insurance Coverage per DRB Systems' Auto Insurance Policy.

  • Other Requirements:
    Willingness to frequently travel with overnight stays. Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences, basic understanding of accounting and electronics and electrical wiring is required.

As a Generator Field Service Technician , you play a critical role in the service, repair, and maintenance of all makes/models of commercial and industrial generators for our customers. This is the ideal position for someone looking for independence from a shop environment—while traveling from customer site to customer site—and recognizes the importance of being dependable, reliable and customer focused. You are the technical expert and the primary customer support contact. Transitioning military personnel with generator experience are encouraged to apply!
