What You'll Do:

  • Energy Audits: Perform in-depth energy assessments on new residential construction projects at various stages, from pre-drywall to post-occupancy.

  • High-Tech Tools: Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools like blower doors, infrared cameras, and data loggers to evaluate building performance.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze energy usage data, comparing it to energy modeling projections to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improving energy efficiency and code compliance.

  • Education: Educate builders, contractors, and homeowners on energy-saving practices and the benefits of our recommended upgrades.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to deliver comprehensive energy solutions to our clients.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest residential energy codes, standards, and emerging technologies in energy efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications:

    • RFI Certification preferred.

    • Knowledge of residential building science principles, energy codes, and HVAC systems.

    • Proficiency in using energy modeling software and data analysis tools.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

  • Physical Demands:

    • Ability to climb ladders, access crawl spaces, and work in attics or other confined spaces.

    • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

  • Working Conditions:

    • Primarily on-site work at new residential construction projects.

    • Some office work for report preparation and data analysis.

    • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
