Capacity to manage field crew of 2-10 employees. Ability to handle on-site client relations.
Ability to research and review utility owner records, as well as identifying utilities from field observation. Ability to comprehend engineered drawings for DOT, municipality and private development/construction. Knowledge of and experience with various makes and models of utility line locating equipment. Basic computer skills a must (ExCel, WORD etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: Assign list of tasks to field crew(s). Complete utility investigations as requested by clients.
Perform utility record research for applicable work area. Meet with client to define work area on site. Map all utilities as requested.
Oversee work performed by field crews. Document findings and report to management and client as requested.
Skills 5-7 years Designating/Locating underground utilities, preferably in SUE industry. Ideally, candidate will have experience with vacuum excavation, as well.
Degrees / Licenses (R)equired (P)referred Valid-Driver's License
Other Some CADD experience preferred. Pre-employment drug testing is required as a condition of employment.
