NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Field Tech Specialist to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

You will work with a fast-paced global leader in IT and have the ability to learn from the best and brightest in the industry.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

  • Support multiple Physician Practice locations in a given geographical area

  • Provide technical support and training for personal computer and PC network users

  • Assist users in solving problems using available hardware and software tools

  • Supports, installs, and maintains personal computers, local area networks, server hardware, operating systems, software, and related IT sanctioned peripherals

  • Installs and supports both hardware and software components for the user group

  • Performs preventive maintenance, test, and repair of equipment

  • Evaluates system configuration and software to ensure effective use of hardware resources

  • Addresses and resolves hardware, software, and customer issues

  • Engages users to determine their potential future business requirements

  • Provides positive customer experience with each customer interaction

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Technical Support Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Computer Training Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of internal service processes and able to articulate these to clients

  • Strong technical and product knowledge

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
