NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Field Tech Senior Associate to join our team in Wichita, Kansas (US-KS), United States (US).

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.

  • Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.

  • Reviews, troubleshoots and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.

  • Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites.

  • Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.

  • Performs maintenance and repair services.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.

  • Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.

  • Provides support for voice and data hardware and software at the desktop level. This includes trouble calls, installations, and add/changes/deletes for both desktop and telecommunication equipment.

  • Maintains and updates all desktop and phone equipment logs, records, and databases as required.

  • Utilizes the Help Desk software to document all assignments.

  • Acquires and maintains in-depth knowledge to continually and effectively support desktop and telecom hardware and software applications.

  • Recommends and implements operational improvements in keeping with current technology trends and established architecture.

  • Participates in the evaluation of new or emerging technologies.

  • Exhibits effective verbal and written communication skills when dealing with customers.

  • Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain working relationships with customers and peers.

  • Telephone Job tasks including, Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, moves telecommunications equipment, maintains Inventory records, responsible for vendor replacements and assists with programming telecommunications applications including phone system, voicemail, and others.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with desktop support, hardware and breakfix support

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Solid documentation skills

Senior field servicetechnician (FST) is a part-time role (with working hours targeted at less than1,000 total hours during a 12-month period), working out of your home office,to meet expanded equipment and service requirements both internally andexternally. The work includes the installation, troubleshooting, repair, andmaintenance of chemical dispensing equipment and commercial dishwashers(warewash machines) and troubleshooting chemical product interactions, allcombined with a high level of customer interaction.
