ASRC Federal NetCentric has an opportunity for a Field System Engineer/Material Fielder supporting our customer in JBLM, Wa.
Responsibilities
Serves as the Fielder for Army Acquisition Corp/PM system fielding.
Provides leadership daily SITREP of all logistics issues.
Ensures adequate storage/training space is available before the arrival of system training, fielding, and test teams.
Participates in daily/weekly meetings as required.
Review receipt/supply documents, effects inventory adjustment, and prepares reports.
Receive, check, visually, and physically examine all incoming equipment, parts, and process and accept these items for issue/storage/shipping.
Operates material moving equipment such as forklifts, manual pallet jacks for inside and outside holding areas
Observe all safety regulations and local regulations, build successful team cohesion.
Maintain constant communication with Fielding Managers to inform them of issues, status, and reporting of fielding effort(s) as required.
Responsible for all phases of the fielding process to include receipt of equipment, de-processing, inventory, storage, and schedule of the new systems.
Reviews packing lists, receiving documents, bills of lading, inspection reports, and other actions for material receipts against contract orders to verify the accuracy of equipment received quantity and other pertinent data.
Requirements:
Knowledgeable with the total package fielding process to include de-processing, inventory, hand-off, and scheduling with Army users for hand-off/Issue (transition) of Army systems to the Primary Hand Receipt Holder (PHRH).
Knowledgeable in Army property accountability processes Capable of having efficient and accurate communication with the principal property and sub-account holders on procedures for replacement, transfer, and turn-in of property items.
Ensures regulatory compliance with hand receipt holders and adheres to the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP). Be able to conduct inventories, account for property, and enforce regulatory compliance.
Operates material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, manual pallet jacks for inside and outside holding areas. Familiar with safety regulations and local regulations, Build successful team cohesion.
Requires experience in coordinating, planning, fielding, and training operations within the Department of Defense. Knowledgeable on Standard Army Information Management Systems.
Requires knowledge of military organizational dynamics such as MTOE, and possess a working knowledge of and be familiar with Total Package Fielding. Strong communication skills are required.
Physical requirements - candidates must lift and carry 40 pounds at shoulder height and 60 pounds at waist height for a distance of 50 feet.
Possess outstanding interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and work without supervision.
Work without supervision and resolve logistics issues as they develop (i.e., training, fielding, etc.).
Requires equivalent Army system experience and military Transition & hand receipt experience
