Field Support Technician

An employer is seeking a Field Support Technician. This person will provide IT support In the Eagleford Shale Oil and Gas assett to all locatios from Cotulla to Three Rivers Texas.

Support of network hardware and software. Provide printing capabilities and setup network resources between offices, plants, Drilling Rigs and Man Camps in the Eagleford Shale. Install, maintain, image and repair laptop and desktop computers and peripheral equipment.

Setup network equipment (switches and routers access points) at offices, Plants, and Man Camps. Work with in-house staff members to resolve computer hardware, software and network issues. Train u as necessary to use software and hardware.

Work with Global help desk to resolve local issues. Set up company phone systems Cisco and Link. Set up cell phones with company applications.

Assist Automation/Scada team with software and hardware when needed.
