Tesla is seeking a Field Support Manager that will support various projects routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair of deployed systems. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed.


  • Provide Nationwide Support to O&M Field Service Team Across all energy products

  • Support Energy customers with construction projects (Array R+R, Re-roof, Remodel)

  • Safety Compliance

  • Training development support

  • Understand and read construction drawings

  • Construction management

  • Manage 3rd party contractors

  • 3rd party contract/cost negotiation and management

  • Inspect contractor work and provide constructive feedback

  • Set up and manage multi party logistics

  • Cross departmental program management/development

  • AP/AR (PO) process and management

  • Material planning and handling

  • Work with Engineering and Training departments to ensure corrective actions are taken to avoid future service calls


  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred

  • Infrastructure operations knowledge

  • Logistics operational knowledge

  • 2+ years of experience working within maintenance and operations

  • Ability to manage voluminous amounts of data

  • Experiencing writing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports.

  • 2+ years of experience creating Scopes of Work for maintenance or electrical services.

  • Ability to prioritize issues across multiple products and go after highest value targets with minimal guidance

  • Solid understanding of insurance claims process both externally and internally

  • Recent training and current certification as required in OSHA10/30 / NFPA 70E / Safety

  • Excellent computer skills especially using Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills both from a technical and client facing perspective

  • Excellent customer service skills required

  • Valid driver's license in the country in which you are applying, 2 year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history

  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time

  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

You will work closely with Logistics, Service, IT, Procurement, and Service to provide process and technology solutions that will enable Tesla to scale. Responsibilities * "Concept to completion" ownership of projects * Work collaboratively with all stakeholders (project managers, service teams, supply chain, communications team etc.) through the various stages of the project: Concept development, testing, execution. * Drive vendor partnership working closely with supply chain and purchasing team and ensure alignment on program requirements, scope, schedule and cost. * Drive requirements and solutions with all internal stakeholders for the success of the project. * Own and drive internal operations during the ramp up, equipment procurement, vehicle building, training, recruiting phases of the projects. * Set goals, track deliverables, identify risk and drive mitigations across all stages of the project. * Own execution and completion of multiple projects, as needed. * Identify resource requirements and highlight gaps across various stages for all projects. * Own report-outs for all projects, highlighting status, risks, mitigations and opportunities across all levels of management within Tesla. * Manage roadmap of program and working within the framework of the overall program. * Other duties as assigned. * Must be at least 18 years of age Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant working experience * 4+ years' experience in technical project management, ideally with multiple delivered projects of medium (25M+) to large sized capital programs.
