Tesla is seeking a Field Support Manager that will support various projects routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair of deployed systems. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed.
Provide Nationwide Support to O&M Field Service Team Across all energy products
Support Energy customers with construction projects (Array R+R, Re-roof, Remodel)
Training development support
Understand and read construction drawings
Manage 3rd party contractors
3rd party contract/cost negotiation and management
Inspect contractor work and provide constructive feedback
Set up and manage multi party logistics
Cross departmental program management/development
AP/AR (PO) process and management
Material planning and handling
Work with Engineering and Training departments to ensure corrective actions are taken to avoid future service calls
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred
Infrastructure operations knowledge
Logistics operational knowledge
2+ years of experience working within maintenance and operations
Ability to manage voluminous amounts of data
Experiencing writing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports.
2+ years of experience creating Scopes of Work for maintenance or electrical services.
Ability to prioritize issues across multiple products and go after highest value targets with minimal guidance
Solid understanding of insurance claims process both externally and internally
Recent training and current certification as required in OSHA10/30 / NFPA 70E / Safety
Excellent computer skills especially using Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal skills both from a technical and client facing perspective
Excellent customer service skills required
Valid driver's license in the country in which you are applying, 2 year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history
Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Must be at least 18 years of age
