Job Description Summary:
Field Engineers (FE) are responsible for performing implementation activities for DISA supporting networks and network infrastructure projects across the country. The FE will be traveling to CONUS and OCONUS sites in Europe and Southwest Asia.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Field Engineer / Site Installation Team (SIT)
Sitewiring implementation, inspection/testing, and removal.
Generation of completion reports to include as-installed documentation (Red Line drawings).
Circuit end-to-end activation coordination and cutover management for transition actions
Siteimplementation testing and checkout.
Cardinstallations and replacement.
Hardware configuration upgrades
Active Secret Security Clearance
2+ years of related telecommunications experience.
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
Working knowledge of Electro Static Discharge (ESD) principles to safeguard static sensitive equipment.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
CompTIASecurity + CE or equivalent
The likely salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
