Education/Qualifications

Essential:

1.Graduated from a standard high school or GED or have equivalent experience.

2.A minimum of one year of water transfer experience.

3.Minimum of 1-year experience as a certified fusion technician.

Desirable:

1.3 years' experience in industry across other disciplines

2.Prior management experience

Essential

Requirements/Skills:

1.Good understanding and working knowledge of water transfer operations and equipment.

2.Ability to set-up and run all aspects of water transfer and management for a Frac.

3.Possess good and effective communication skills with individuals at all levels, including customer representatives.

4.Possess ability to effectively supervise and train other employees.

5.Ability to write legibly and intelligently, with basic spreadsheet and word processing skills using a mobile device (e.g., smartphone, laptop, I-Pad or the like).

6.Ability to prepare and submit daily and weekly administrative reports/documents (equipment reports, time sheets, and related compilations)

7.Ability to read and follow directions provided by Supervisor and customer representatives.

8.Valid Driver's License.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of water transfer services for a specific operator or account.

  • Acts as voice to the client as a representative of Keystone management.

  • Supervisor on site, delegating work to be done to ensure operations are running smoothly and on budget.

  • Runs all current jobs per work order / working hand in hand with Operations Supervisor and Managing Director.

  • Ensures all EH&S procedures are followed, including the training of new employees to the job site.

  • Utilizes appropriate safety equipment and ensuring that all company policy, procedures, governmental regulations, etc. are adhered to.

  • Maybe be asked to evaluate potential new jobs. Work with engineering to properly spec the job for cost benefit analysis.

  • Responsible for the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of lease equipment, pumping facilities and water transfer operations.

  • Ensures proper monitoring, inspection, and performing of minor repairs in order to maintain pumps, and flow meters.

  • Installs and monitors water transfer equipment, including pumps, flow meters, filter pods and various valves necessary for transfer operations.

  • Keeps down time and operating costs to a minimum.

  • Supervise, assist, direct and train employee(s) working with them.

  • Prepares daily Field Tickets for all the work performed on customer job sites; reviews for accuracy and completeness; submits tickets daily to the Company's accounting department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May manage subordinate employees or contractors.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with KCS policies.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Participate in set ups & demobs; assemble required equipment/parts/pieces utilizing power tools and hand tools. * Operate pumps to job specifications, monitoring pressures, fluid levels, and temperatures and opening/closing valves providing a path for the water to flow. * Operate telehandler, skid steer, man basket (when properly trained) in a safe manner performing all pre/post operational checks. * Operate light plant, compressor, generator safely performing all pre/post operational checks. * Recordkeeping, including completing a job safety analysis, water tracking spreadsheet, pump checklist, equipment checklist, time sheet, BBS, near miss report, etc. * Communicate effectively utilizing email, text, phone, hand held radio, and interpersonal communication. * Overnight travel to field assignments, with work assignments continuing at times for periods of a week's duration or longer, according to project requirements and related factors. * Maintains a clean, organized work area. * Fuels equipment safely along with another employee, ensuring not to spill any fuel on the ground. * Utilize basic rigging when performing a lift, as well as using a tag line. * Monitor frac tanks/upright tanks/AST levels continuously/intermittently ensuring that they keep levels within specified limits. * Monitor filter pods and change filter socks when applicable. * Follows all Standard Operating Procedures set by KCS. * Follow all Safety policies and procedures without fail. * Assist in winter ops including blowing lines down, pigging, controlled release, and operating heaters.
