Field Superintendent Sheet Metal Los Angeles, CA
The Recruiting team at ISC is partnering with a growing Construction Company to recruit candidates for a Field Superintendent position in the greater Los Angeles, CA area.
The Field Superintendent Sheet Metal is responsible for providing direction for field installation projects. This position will also have management/supervisory responsibilities if you have successfully supervised/ managed a construction project team for sheet metal projects, this is the position for you!
The successful candidate for the Field Superintendent Sheet Metal position will have these responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the project to include, developing and maintaining the construction schedules, adhering to construction budgets and cost, ordering materials, inspections, contractor management, safety and quality management.
Review job specific information with trade contractors prior to commencement of work.
Oversee construction process of the project from start to completion.
Review scope pf work with site superintendent through job site walk.
Manage and document project design and construction progress for duration of the project.
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Conduct quality control inspections in accordance with company requirements.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Loss Control Program.
Maintain current knowledge of national and local codes.
Walk units under construction daily.
Requirements for Field Superintendent Sheet Metal:
High School diploma. Bachelors degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or related fields preferred.
5+ years of field construction experience with sheet metal, roof metals, exterior wall paneling systems or related products.
Must have experience in all facets of the construction process.
Prior experience managing construction projects in excess of $750K.
Experience reading and interpreting construction documents and plans to include blueprints and shop drawings.
Strong project and financial analysis experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Must be able to work in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
Self-driven, highly motivated, excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Procore or other construction software programs.
Must have a valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
Regular travel to the job sites are required.
Salary: $70 - $100K and excellent benefits package
