  • Installing, repairing and troubleshooting workstations, Printers, Scanners, Routers, & Switches

  • Installing and repairing Servers

  • Troubleshoot and installing in LAN-WAN environments

  • Provide some desk side technical support for hardware and software

  • Perform analysis to effectively identify potential problems to eliminate problems in the future

  • Maintain requisite technical competence to support the hardware and software

  • Install, move, add, and change hardware and related peripherals in accordance with the Change Management Process

  • Taking appropriate actions to mitigate or eliminate hardware/software problems

  • handle General Territory.

  • Standby and travel are a requirement, normally 150 - 200 mile radius

  • Perform applicable preventative maintenance, per OEM specifications

Experience and Skills:

Certifications - A+/Net+/MCSE - Cisco Certifications will be desired. Experience with SCO and or LINUX will be a plus as well

Experience -

  • Minimum 5 years of Information Technology Experience in the public sector with organizations undergoing major upgrades to software and systems is preferred

  • Experience installing and repairing Servers

  • Experience installing & troubleshooting LAN-WAN environments

  • Experience installing and repairing & troubleshooting workstations, Printers, Scanners, Routers, & Switches

  • Must be available to be on-call per schedule

  • Must have excellent communications and customer service skills, and demonstrate leadership and creative thinking

  • Must be able to travel throughout the state and outlying areas

  • Must be able to work overtime when required

  • Must be able to provide own transportation

  • Must submit to and pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol screen

We are currently seeking an experienced Technician to join our growing team! Position Overview: Safe and successful execution of fieldwork including industrial cleaning, remediation, UST removal, waste packaging and disposal, site demolition, emergency spill response and site cleanup projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Respond to emergencies/spill under varying conditions. * Set up a containment reduction zone consistent with OSHA regulations. * Load/unload drums, cylinders, equipment from and into vans, flatbeds, trailers. * Perform confined space work inside tanks of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods. * Assist in retrieval or cleanup of biomedical waste. * Proficiently layout and safely operate project assigned equipment. * Correct completion of all job-specific, employee related NRC paper work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms. Correct completion of Driver's Logs and Notes/Incident Action Logbook. * Follow directions; read/speak and understand English; read and understand common danger placards / labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans. * Understand and comply with company and client safety standards. * Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: * High School or GED (or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills) * 2-5 years hands-on experience in a laborer capacity preferably in industrial services, emergency response and spill cleanup. * Current 40 hour Hazmat Cert including required refresher certificates. * Valid Driver's License with an MVR that meets company policy standards. * Willingness and ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement to license. * Ability to operate assigned equipment including large centrifugal pumps, pressure washers (all types, including hydroblasters) and Bobcats (small equipment). * Willingness and ability to work extended hours and travel as required. * Must be reliable with a strong work ethic. Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
