The Opportunity

As a Field Services Foremen you will be responsible for the supervision of a crew of Field Technicians and the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

  • Organizes crews, delegates job responsibilities and verifies that the appropriate equipment is available and on-site to complete the project/job;

  • Completes and submits daily work sheets for proper billing to customer;

  • Trains and mentors of Field Technicians;

  • Reports all work-related accidents/incidents to their supervisor;

  • Assists with emergency on-call work, this could include weekends and holidays.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 2+ year of environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry experience;

  • 2+ year of supervisory or management experience;

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 85% of the time;

  • Ability to be on-call for emergency response situations;

  • Ability to pull a trailer via pick-up truck preferred;

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities Perspecta has an immediate need for a Field Service Technician Lead in Point Loma, CA. Position provides day to day direction to site resources, interacts with customer leadership, and is the primary interface between the site and the FS Queue Management group. Under general direction, this position applies specialized knowledge in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution. Applies specialization to conceptualize, design, construct, test and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology. Interacts with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects. Collects, identifies, defines and organizes detailed user and information technology requirements. Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Confirms and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the customer. Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement and conversions. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. Prepares system documentation. Establishes and maintains security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents. Participates in special studies. Qualifications * Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Service Manager, Remedy, Remote Desktop, and Hardware/Software troubleshooting. * SECRET clearance (SSBI preferred) * Must be a United States citizen * Basic network troubleshooting (TCP IP) * DoD 8570: A+ Certification on hand on first day.
