About the Role:

Windstream's team of Field Service Technicians are vital team members who represent our leading telecommunications brand that connects homeowners, small business, enterprise and carrier partners across the United States. Our team of Field Service Technicians care about technology and connecting customers to products they value. Through providing technical expertise and customer support, our Field Service Technicians create meaningful connections with customers that create long-term relationships.

What You'll Do:

  • Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.

  • Train and work with tools and test equipment to provide service of multiple different technologies and network designs.

  • Recommend products and services that resolve their communications needs.

  • Work in both buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder skills.

  • Safely operate and maintain clean and organized company service vehicle.

  • Work in both inside and outside environments.

  • Complete necessary safety training and follow safety standards and regulations.

  • You will report to the Manager of Local Operations

Do You Have?

  • Basic technology and math skills

  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record

  • Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable.

  • Ability to use equipment with maximum load capacity of 275lbs.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, capable of working aloft.

  • Ability to successfully complete required safety training.

  • Ability to work assigned schedules and extended hours including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

  • Ability to respond to after hour call-outs.

  • High School Degree or GED equivalent

Even Better:

  • Customer service or sale experience.

  • Certifications or training directly related to the position.

  • Two-year technical degree in computers or electronics, or the equivalent in work experience.

VIEW JOBS 7/25/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-10-23T00:00 This position is casual,  part-time.  Hours may vary.  Must be available on holidays and weekends.<br /> <br /> <strong>Overall Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br /> The CMT role is providing daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients whose condition and drug regimen are stable. Will have a list of patients and medications each day, and must administer medications in the indicated dosage at the correct time. Must ensure that patients actually swallow medications, which can be an issue when working in corrections. Must be able to enforce and abide by all medication pass rules and regulations that are set within the correctional institution. Needs to be able to accurately and efficiently observe changes in any inmate’s behaviors, vital signs, and medication compliance or medication adverse side effects and be able to report these to the nurse on duty in a timely manner.  Needs to be able to accurately gather information from newly arriving inmates and efficiently report this information to nurse on duty in a timely manner. Must be able to use common inner office equipment such as: computer, fax machine, copier, scanner and have good telephone/communication skills.<br />  <br /> <strong><u>JOB SKILLS</u></strong>: Must have a strong grasp on basic patient care. Have the ability to accurately obtain vital signs and be observant to report any change in patient condition to nurse on duty. They must clearly understand the legal and ethical limits of their position. Must have a clear understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology, and be able to manage medications for a large number of patients without making dosing errors or providing medications to the wrong patient. Must be able to perform regular office duties as instructed by nurse on duty such as faxing, making copies, filing, answering telephone calls, preparing paperwork for transfers and gathering information from new inmates upon intake. Needs to be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize job duties as changes occur.<br /> <br /> <strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>:<br /> <u>EDUCATION/TRAINING:</u> High School Diploma or GED equivalent, CNA/ NCA/HCA/PCA with Certified Medication Technician Certificate, CPR Certification, Insulin Administration Training with Certificate, Active Driver’s License and the ability to pass physical exam, criminal background check and drug screen<br />  <br /> <u>WORK EXPERIENCE:</u> 1 year of experience is preferred but willing to train.<br /> <br /> Armstrong County considers qualified applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, ancestry, service animals, familiar status, veteran status, gender, non-job related disability, or any other legally protected status.<br />   County Of Armstrong Kittanning PA
