Field Service Technician

Our power generation client is looking for a Field Service Technician to join the team in the Richmond, VA area. Candidates may reside in or around Richmond, VA. This will be a remote role, you will dispatch from your home to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial generator sets and electrical equipment. Other responsibilities Include:

• Preventative maintenance services

• Troubleshooting of Automatic Transfer Switches , AC, AD circuits, diesel/gas engines, injection systems, ignition components and more

• Following manufactures warranty guidelines

• Perform start ups on new generator systems

• Change oil and filters

• Ensure units are in proper operating conditions and follow code requirements

• Work in teams with other technicians Job Requirements Requirements: -3 years of power generation experience OR a mechanical or electrical background coupled with at least 1 year of experience in power generation

• High diploma required

• Military background encouraged

• Must have a valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record

• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills are essential for this role, reflecting strong communication and problem-solving abilities
