Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite company, is North America's premiere distributor of dock and door equipment, as well as provider of field installation, maintenance, and repair services. To continue our growth, we have an opening for a Field Service Technician in the Edison, NJ area.

Job Description:

Rite-Hite Service Technicians will install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities throughout the Edison, NJ area and surrounding counties. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.

Required Experience:

Rite-Hite sells the best and we hire the best. This position requires experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred. Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment. Good customer service skills are required.

This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds. As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.

Assists with routine and non-routine sampling, monitoring, and data collection activities in support of environmental monitoring programs and client service requests Field Technician I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Collects, documents, packages, and ships samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols. * Assists with routine and non-routine data collection activities for environmental monitoring programs, which may involve hazardous material/waste project sites. * Assists with routine sample preparation and/or analyses, generally on site, in support of mobile laboratory operations or screening surveys. * Completes documents and is responsible for quality control of all assignments. * Follows and enforces company health and safety policies. * Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.
