Field Service Technician

Parksite is looking to add a Field Service Technician to their team! The Field Service Technician is responsible for assisting the production department by performing the following duties:

• Providing service and customer support via field visits and phone calls.

• Managing all onsite inspection visits and repairs, while balancing end user requests against customer obligations.

• Diagnosing installation errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.

• Producing timely, detailed service reports.

• Operating rental vehicles in a safe manner by following all company procedures and protocols.

• Cooperating and sharing information with the Sales, Production and Logistics teams.

• Building positive relationships with customers.

Education / Experience:

• Education:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Specialized knowledge of equipment used could include:

• Various saws; sanders; air exchange, hoses and tools; power tools; hand tools; pre-finish equipment and applications and door assembly and building equipment; packaging equipment; and hydraulic lifting equipment (forklifts, electric jacks, etc.).

• Skills & Experience:

• Proven field experience

• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and document improper installations

• Ability to work flexible shifts/adapt to changing work schedules

• Knowledge of painting and staining steel, fiber classic and wood materials

• Knowledge of building materials and carpenter skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
