NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Field Service Technician to join our team in Thousand Oaks, California (US-CA), United States (US).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute service delivery (IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support) according to Managed Client Policy & Procedure Guide.

  • Coordinates with Client End User on expectations and availability to conduct Managed Client Services.

  • Performs trouble shooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and basic deployments & repair on Client Assets in campus / remote locations.

  • Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact End User experience and follows through on action steps.

  • Strives to meet all Client SLAs & Customer Satisfaction Goals.

  • Escalate to IF Desktop Support Site Lead on issues that impact a Client End User and/or entire operation at a given site.

  • When required provides onsite shadowing to Dell Program Field Service Team.

  • Serves as an entry point to develop both technical and customer skills to grow into broader and more challenging field services roles.

  • Basic installation and maintenance of technical products.

  • Follows predefined procedures and tasks in everyday activities.

  • Work is regularly reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist.

  • Reviews, troubleshoots and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.

  • Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites.

  • Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.

  • Performs maintenance and repair services.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.

  • Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.

  • Qualified resources should have A+ certification or equivalent skill set; basic Windows troubleshooting will be involved.

  • Individual must have ability to receive calls during the normal business day and after hours.

  • Physically able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in our customer environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis in customer service, including experience handling difficult customers and conflict resolution.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Travel: This position does not require travel

  • Degree: Industry Technical Certifications. Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of related IT experience

This includes providing global Regional Medical Liaison (RML) center of excellence leadership, responsibility for global alignment and processes required to support RML teams across the 4 corporate Operating Regions, identifying global RML synergies and differentiating appropriate local solutions, enhancing the global RML value proposition, and defining RML roles across the Regions. The Global Field Medical Capabilities Lead works closely with cross-functional and cross-geographic partners, including Regional Capability Leads, Regional Medical Heads, Global Medical Affairs Leads, Global Medical Operations, Information Systems and Executive leadership to inform and execute RML strategies. Key Responsibilities: * Provide Global RML Center of Excellence leadership; create and maintain a leadership forum for knowledge and decisions (Core Capability Team) between global leadership and Regional/Local RML organizations. * Responsible for global alignment and processes required to support RML teams across the 4 operating regions. * Identification of global RML synergies and appropriate local solutions, where applicable. Implementation of global and regional solutions to achieve maximal Global RML alignment and local execution. * Partner with Global and Regional Medical Operations to drive evolution of RML systems, processes and new technologies. * Recommend and assist in developing global organizational strategies for successful implementation of RML role and programs. Maintain Global RML SharePoint site. * Champion RML initiatives and ideas from the field to the headquarters; driving annual objectives and metrics (quantitative and qualitative) for RML performance. * Lead or participate in cross-functional committees to develop and implement strategy related to RML support of the business. * Partner with Global Learning and Performance training to help determine the strategy, content and execution of training programs to support RMLs. * Ensure Global/Regional/Local input, appropriate prioritization of needs, and resource allocation to meet program goals on time and within budget. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues.
