Field Service Technician Level I

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Learn inside-out about GEA Conventional & Robotic Milking Systems.

• Help dealers with installations and startup processes.

• Work on creating a customer care service package for our milking systems.

• Assist with dealer support, product knowledge, and installations.

• Act as the bridge between our dealers and GEA.

• Collaborate with our team to improve our products.

• Keep everyone in the loop with reports and updates.

• Attend industry meetings as needed.

• Manage inventory with our dealers (when applicable).

• Resolve customer service issues.

• Become proficient in Dairy Plan software

Your Profile / Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1-2 years of extensive experience in Dairy or Agricultural operations.

• Possess required product knowledge and training to align company goals with customer needs.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, guiding, and supporting team members effectively.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for seamless customer interactions.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and effective information exchange.

• Collaborative team player mindset, fostering a cohesive work environment.

• Proficiency in computer applications like Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Additional project management skills are a bonus.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (75-85% of the time).
