The Opportunity

As our Field Service Technician you will get to service and maintain machinery in customer packinghouses, service and maintain control systems, program and edit PLC code, and install equipment in customer plants.

You will report directly to the Customer Care Manager of our FTNON team.

Qualifications

On a given day you may:

• Assemble, wiring, and functionally testing control panels and systems from schematic drawings provided by engineering and direct by supervisor

• Install JBT control systems at the customer plant

• Provide technical support to JBT leased equipment to ensure that all equipment and electrical systems are functioning

• Maintain and calibrate customer's equipment and systems

The Challenge

To thrive, you have:

• 2 years of Mechanical experience and 3 years electrical experience

• Good experience with industrial motor controls, instrumentation and programming and editing PLC code

• PLC programming training,

• You have a High School Diploma or GED

• You have a valid driver's license

Location & Travel

• We ask that you travel about 80% of the time.

• You will work remotely. Ideally you are located in the Dallas, TX, OR PHX, AZ area.

The estimated annual salary/hourly range for this role is $27.00-$40.00. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
