We are seeking a Field Service Technician with an Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 4 years of relevant experience. What to look forward to: As a Field Service Technician, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

Must-haves:

  • Associate's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience

  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience

  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification (A&P)

  • Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents

  • Remote work structure supporting Foreign Air Force personnel from 11 PM EDT to 7 AM EDT Monday through Friday

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

  • Basic understanding of electrical wiring concepts

  • Ability to travel OCONUS for approximately 2 weeks at a time, twice a year

  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Preferred:

  • Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
  • Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges

VIEW JOBS 9/23/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-12-22T00:00 The Quality Assurance Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting and augmenting internal audit activities of assigned SNC Operations, Engineering and Programs at various SNC locations and assist in providing oversight and continual improvement to the QMS system. These internal auditing activities are used to assess and ensure quality assurance compliance, both internally and externally per the defined requirements in the QMP, LSP, and GOP's/FOP's. The Auditor is responsible for leading and conducting audits to insure that all management and employees are in conformance to the Quality Management System and high work standards to ensure that all activities meet or exceed all business goals, customer/industry/regulatory requirements and SNC process and procedures. * Auditing & Compliance - Schedule and conduct internal quality assurance compliance and special process audits on the defined locations assigned to him/her and participate in external audits when requested to ensure internal, customer, industry and/or regulatory requirements are being met. SNC's Quality Assurance Internal Auditors will be cross trained to ensure that all special process work performed is being performed properly and in accordance with approved data. Auditor will be responsible for documenting and preparation of quality reporting, tracking of open audit findings, and to ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve quality deficiencies. Auditor will assist locations in the development of corrective and preventive action plans and conduct follow up audits when required. * Communication - Establish clear communication within and between SNC's network to ensure consistency in what is expected related to training and Logistics/Quality Assurance requirements. * Customer Relations - When required assist in investigations of external and internal non-conformances and prepare investigation reports for management. * Establish and monitor audit completion deadlines as necessary to meet our overall company goals, i.e. monitoring audit response information. * Problem Resolution - Pro-actively apply problem solving skills to a) clearly identify the problem; b) use data / facts to determine governing requirement for the investigation of root cause so that the locations can make the proper corrective action. * Quality - Enforcement of SNC's quality standards and requirements on all work that is performed. Enforce and help all levels of SNC employees recognize quality as a key element of customer satisfaction and meeting SNC's business goals. Insist that everyone be expected to demonstrate the highest work ethics when performing job functions, in dealings with their fellow employees, supervisors or outside customers, auditors or regulatory bodies. * Reporting Requirements - Send all Internal Audit reports to management as required. . Directly reports to the Operations Manager responsible for AIS field QA * Training - Aid in establishing SNC process needs and assist in developing SNC's written processes and procedures necessary to ensure that all employees in work center and departments have the necessary training and instructions to perform their duties to meet SNC, customer, industry and regulatory requirements. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours. Aid and develop all logistic work processes to ensure all employees meet or exceed customer, SNC, industry or regulatory requirements. * Successfully completes all required training that relate to the duties of this job. * Min 5 years' experience working with a Quality Management Program and in a logistics function.
