We also include a full range of Aftermarket services including: repairs, upgrades, modernization, operator/maintenance training, and feasibility studies.



Job Description:

Field Service Technician are responsible for all aspects of the planning, integration, and support of our product offerings. This involves the planning and supervision of installation of a product into a clients existing system, solving all associated technical problems, and ensuring overall function. Once products are in place, Field Service Technician maintain and service them according to their users needs; they may replace and upgrade existing products as well.

This position is primarily responsible for:

Field Service Technician are responsible for continual analysis of a customers equipment to ensure quality optimal operational performance. If a failure occurs in the field, they must determine the cause and make recommendations for updates or corrections. They may be involved in conceptualization, design, and/or testing of a product to properly install, maintain, and analyze its use in the field. Field Service Technician are also responsible for adherence to the defined technical scope and budget substantiated by regular service documentation.

Field Service Technician are responsible to research, develop and maintain scheduled customer visits, weekly reports, and call report logs. May work in an office or plant environment and be compliant will all safety requirements at each operation that they visit; utilizing at all times proper PPE.

Work Environment:

General office environment or while working in production environments, the colleague may be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes and various levels of temperature created by the durable goods industrial process.


Required Skills

Skills and Communication:

  • Positive attitude and strong focus on customer satisfaction;
  • Experienced in performing troubleshooting all types of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic products;
  • Strong analytical, diagnosis, and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work with blueprints, schematic drawings, and illustrations;
  • Skilled in assembling and disassembling equipment;
  • Expert in conducting repair and maintenance service on complex equipment;
  • Ensure safety norms are followed during installation and maintenance processes;
  • Strengthen and build client relationships by improving their interaction with products;
  • Excellent customer service, technical, interpersonal and communication skills both in writing and verbally;
  • Train internal and external groups on product operation and maintenance;
  • Strong prioritizing, and time management skills;
  • Ready and willing to travel domestically as well as internationally;
  • Any and all duties related to your basic responsibilities as a Field Service Technician not listed above.

Required Experience

Education and Experience:

Technical Degree, Engineering Degree or Equivalent Work Experience;

  • Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience in repairing and maintaining equipment;
  • Experience in controls, VFDs, MCCs, PLCs and HMIs;
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and P&IDs;
  • Proficiency in PC utilizing MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
