Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities:
Daily travel to customer sites, occasional overtime, and sporadic on-call emergency service is required to meet customers' needs.
Provides technical assistance on equipment start-ups, installations and repairs of compressed air systems including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirements.
Serves as technical support for customers and sales team, as needed.
Documents service and installation activities by completing work orders for each job, maintenance checklist and daily time sheets in a timely manner.
Increase HGAP's customers' awareness of how products, services and solutions (preventive maintenance, audits, etc.) can benefit their operations.
Maintains rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements.
Ensures proper operation of compressed air equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and inspections on a wide variety of compressors, refrigerated dryers, desiccant dryers and additional compressed air components.
Works with Service Coordination team on identifying parts and supplies necessary to complete assigned service repairs.
Conduct safety assessments of a continuously changing working environment.
Submit expense reports, timesheets and other assigned documentation as required.
Follow all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Communicate customer feedback to service management team as needed
Drive field concerns to closure in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Education:
Associates Degree a plus
Technical Trade School a plus
Professional experience:
1- years of technical training or equivalent experience installing and troubleshooting compressed air dryer systems
Experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors a plus
Demonstrated success in technical training
Experience with industrial product manufacturing and processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong grasp of Microsoft office required
Ability to read and understand schematics
Ability to work independently or on a team
