Check out our many videos to learn more http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/ Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to: Read blueprints and drawings Use micrometers and dial indicators Use all types of mechanics' hand tools Utilize presses, torches and pullers Align pumps and motors Rebuild mechanical seals Qualifications of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to: Have a working knowledge of fits and clearances Be adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instruments Have good math skills Be accomplished at writing inspection reports Have a high school degree Have at least 4 years of experience Acceptable driving record, according to company guidelines.
