The Role:

• We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join our US team, based out of Loveland, OH.

• This is a field-based, customer-facing role, primarily traveling to customer sites performing installation, maintenance and service work.

• You will also be responsible for building a positive relationship with customers and peers, as well as completing necessary administrative tasks.

• As the ideal candidate, you are an independent go-getter and team player with a positive attitude making customer satisfaction and technical performance your priority.

Responsibilities:

• Provide installation, service, training, and troubleshooting support on dry ice production equipment and dry ice blasting machines at our customers' facilities.

• The primary work base location for this position is Loveland, OH.

• Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and commitment to resolving their requests.

• Complete administrative follow-up tasks (electronically) after visiting the customer site

• Ensure that safety and quality standards are met.

• Take and respond to emergency customer service calls, taking turns with colleagues to answer the 24/7 service line.

• Identify customer needs and requirements and create proposals in collaboration with the Customer Service Coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Education in a related technical field, e.g. electronics, electro-mechanics, basic skills in hydraulics, pneumatics.

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery

• Knowledge with programmable logic controller (PLC) would be an advantage.

• Five or more years experience in field service work, e.g. with electro-mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.

• Customer service skills that demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and garnering customer loyalty.

• Self-motivated to work independently and enjoy being in the field at customer sites with service travel 70-100% of the time including occasional international service trips.

• Strong verbal and written communication in English and a second language would be an advantage.
