Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to oversee, assist, and ensure the safe and accurate installation and operation of all VRC (Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor) equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to customer locations, supervising and troubleshooting the installation, start-up, and service processes in accordance with company procedures and policies and customer requirements. The role involves both on-site and telephone support of all customers, maintenance, service, and repair of the full line of VRC equipment, and maintaining strong customer relationships while upholding our reputation as the leader in VRC quality and service.

Hard Skills

• Ability to enter Parameters for VFD set up

• Ability to troubleshoot VFD beyond reporting a fault code

• Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics

• Experience in installation, start-up, service, and repair of VRC equipment

Soft Skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to maintain strong customer relationships

• Ability to work under supervision and independently

• Problem-solving skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

The work environment is a blend of indoor and outdoor settings, including office, production, and customer field environments. The role involves traveling to customer locations for troubleshooting and maintenance/repairs. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may work in high places.
