Supervises the day-to-day routine of the Field Service shop and Field Electronic Technicians. Supervises all facets of State Motor Vehicles, coordinates Dispatch & the Parts Room, and prepares daily operational paperwork.


  • Supervise the Field Service shop and provide guidance and direction to staff members as needed.

  • Analyze problem situations and works to solve them in a professional manner.

  • Supervise all facets of State Motor Vehicles, making sure routine maintenance is adhered to, vehicles are assigned as needed, and reports are prepared & distributed as appropriate.

  • Coordinate Dispatch and Parts Room in order to promote effective us of Field Electronic Technicians and to provide an efficient inventory control; ensure accurate service calls and parts records are maintained on a daily basis.

  • Prepare daily operational paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion.

  • Perform related tasks as assigned.


  • Ability to assist in the supervision of Field Service personnel, communicate with other departments, and represent the Lottery in a professional manner.

  • Must possess technical training in maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of Flex & Wave on-line terminals, PAT's, ITVM's, and wireless communication devices.

  • Must possess thorough knowledge and understanding of field and in-house service procedure and techniques.

  • Experience in the Field Service Department in order to maintain reasonable

response time.

  • Must be familiar with current service procedures as implemented by the Manager of Field Service.

  • Must be familiar with current service procedures, i.e. timesheets, overtime, expense reports, etc.

  • Ability to understand hardware and software upgrades and alterations, as well as communicating this information to Field Technicians.

  • Ability to manage several databases. Access, Track n Field, Prosys, GRapid, and Cadence.

  • Ability to dispatch and assign service calls.
