Supervises the day-to-day routine of the Field Service shop and Field Electronic Technicians. Supervises all facets of State Motor Vehicles, coordinates Dispatch & the Parts Room, and prepares daily operational paperwork.
Supervise the Field Service shop and provide guidance and direction to staff members as needed.
Analyze problem situations and works to solve them in a professional manner.
Supervise all facets of State Motor Vehicles, making sure routine maintenance is adhered to, vehicles are assigned as needed, and reports are prepared & distributed as appropriate.
Coordinate Dispatch and Parts Room in order to promote effective us of Field Electronic Technicians and to provide an efficient inventory control; ensure accurate service calls and parts records are maintained on a daily basis.
Prepare daily operational paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion.
Perform related tasks as assigned.
Ability to assist in the supervision of Field Service personnel, communicate with other departments, and represent the Lottery in a professional manner.
Must possess technical training in maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of Flex & Wave on-line terminals, PAT's, ITVM's, and wireless communication devices.
Must possess thorough knowledge and understanding of field and in-house service procedure and techniques.
Experience in the Field Service Department in order to maintain reasonable
Must be familiar with current service procedures as implemented by the Manager of Field Service.
Must be familiar with current service procedures, i.e. timesheets, overtime, expense reports, etc.
Ability to understand hardware and software upgrades and alterations, as well as communicating this information to Field Technicians.
Ability to manage several databases. Access, Track n Field, Prosys, GRapid, and Cadence.
Ability to dispatch and assign service calls.
