Collins Aerospace is seeking a Field Service Representative who will support customer needs at assembly location in Fort Worth as well as in/out-country technical support at various customer sites. When not travelling, candidate will be responsible for supporting Collins Aerospace in-house repair and MOD activity as well as support production needs as necessary.

Location: Onsite - (Haltom City, TX)

Shift: 1st shift, (5:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday

  • Thursday)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining/testing of Landing Gear Assemblies.

  • On-site repair, maintenance and test activities directly supporting our customer base.

  • Provide technical support in the maintenance and repair of equipment.

  • Support Production and the Integration and Test of equipment.

  • Maintenance and control of assigned tools/test equipment and spare parts. Assist with the return and repair of customer owned assets using the RMA process.

  • Performs other administrative duties associated with the job, including but not limited to electronic expense reports, daily time cards, Field Service Reports.

  • Ensures that all assigned tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Must be willing and able to work in various environmental conditions.

  • Will lift and move equipment up to 55 pounds.

  • Must be able to meet medical and physical fitness requirements to enter into and maintain deployment in accordance with customer requirements.

  • Able to travel internationally and domestically up to 50% on short notice to support assignment.

  • Able to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and participate in on-call duties.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US passport.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required:https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in Landing Gear Assembly and test.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to read, understand technical material and procedures/instructions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintaining good customer relations.

  • Must be able to function with minimal supervision.

  • Must be willing and able to work in various environmental conditions.

  • Must communicate effectively with internal and external customers both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to multi-task and complete high volumes of work.

The salary range for this role is 48,000 USD - 116,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
