Manages and implements complex network architectures, including LAN/WAN configurations, physical network infrastructure designs, and integrates advanced networking hardware such as Cisco Nexus and Aruba switches. Telework and travel position. Routinely travels among 23 AF DCGS core and satellite CONUS and OCONUS locations.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of COTS hardware and software, including routers, switches, storage arrays, servers, and workstations, with a focus on meeting DoD and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Managing and implementing complex network architectures, including LAN/WAN configurations, physical network infrastructure design, and the integration of advanced networking hardware such as Cisco Nexus and Aruba switches
Installing and configuring operating systems across multiple classified networks and domains, utilizing both Microsoft and UNIX-based systems
Performing fault isolation, diagnostic assessment, and corrective actions on mission-critical systems, including Full Motion Video (FMV) assets, to ensure continuous availability and operational integrity
Developing, documenting, and maintaining systems to ensure reliability and security of deployed systems at both CONUS and OCONUS locations
Required Qualifications
Three years’ experience performing above listed technical duties and responsibilities
DoD 8570 IAT Level II-compliant certification
Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Exhibit professional qualities:
Effectively communicate in verbal and written formats
Work unsupervised, independently or as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with sponsors, customers, subordinates, users
Bachelor’s Degree or three additional years’ relevant experience
