Vodastra Technologies is seeking a Field Service IT Technician to join our team! You will resolve computer-related issues for your clients.

Responsibilities:


Deskside support utilizing a Desktop level technician on Desktops, Laptops, MS Surface, Apple Mac, Monitors, Apple iPads, Apple iPhones, Samsung Android, Network Switch (Network is Hand & Eyes Desktop skilled technician)
All work is Monday Friday excluding Holidays 08:00 to 17:00
Onsite Hot swap solution proposed with spares onsite
There will be a Level 2 desk to support the technicians
All PCs are covered by OEM warranty

Qualifications:

Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Printer/copier and laptop/desktop experience, technical training, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Products, networking, and internet browsers.
Knowledge of using diagnostic tools, service aids, and product schematics, to assess and resolve equipment and system failures
Ability to maintain and complete accurate record keeping and processing of paperwork.
Must work well independently, as well as follow directions.
Able to handle more than one responsibility at a time.
Able to work under deadline pressures.
Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time Management.
Ability to build rapport with clients.

Summary: The Field Service Technician Reports to the Manager of Operations and is part of the Global Services organization. This position will travel to area hospitals and clinics and provide technical instrumentation service. The Field Service Technician installs, checks out, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment, provides guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques, and analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Advises and assists in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation. Devises and implements preventive maintenance programs and keeps performance and maintenance records on equipment. * Participates in installation planning phase. * Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures. * Provide dialysis/apheresis instrumentation installation. * Completes installations and repair services within time requirements established by service management. * Provide contract preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures. * Successfully completes instrumentation training at Baxter training facility. * Provide on-site clinical instrumentation in-service. * Schedules service calls with customers in accordance with current procedures published by national and regional management. * Provides installation and repair service within time requirements established by service management. * Performs other duties as required. Qualifications * Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field. * Minimum of 2-5 year of relevant experience. * Excellent communication ability required. * Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions are required. * Ability to exercise independent judgment and draw accurate conclusions based on available information. * Some overnight travel will be required.
