You may be interested in our Field Service Engineer position that we have available! This opportunity provides 24x7 server support and includes providing exceptional customer service with each interaction.
We are looking to add a Field Service Engineer to our Indianapolis team. Our company provides 24x7 onsite data center hardware support. This position requires Service Engineers to drive to a customer site whenever a call is placed. Our Engineers are reimbursed for travel expenses, as they use their own vehicles. Travel consists of service calls typically within a 100-mile range, as well as periodic training, and at times traveling out of state. When on call, our field service technicians may have to drive to any one of these locations at any time of the day or night.
Maintain and service data center hardware equipment (primarily mid to high-end servers and other storage devices) of assigned accounts
Provide top-notch service to ensure 100% customer loyalty
Understand and practice proactive service methodology
Engage other departments when appropriate (i.e. Purchasing, Support, Sales)
Desired Skills & Experience:
Strong technical skills with at least a basic knowledge of computer hardware
On-call availability for 24x7 customer needs as part of a scheduled rotation throughout the local service team
General field service experience preferred
