JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data review of identifiable factors is required. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices, to determine appropriate actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.

• Communicates and resolves issues to ensure successful sign off with customer is reached.

• Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.

• Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.

• Position requires 70% travel.

• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other technical field.

• Previous field service on semiconductor or electro-mechanical equipment preferred but not required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to serve and train customers effectively.

• Experience successfully servicing electronic equipment strongly preferred.

• Basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.

• Experience using Salesforce preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Ability to travel, including intermittent international travel is required.

Compensation:

Salary range for this position is: $26- $31 hourly.

The base salary pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills.
