Location: Las Vegas, NV- Travel to California, Utah, and Arizona for Utility customers
Salary: 80k-90k base with OT and Annual Bonus 7% could be upwards of $130k total package
Relocation travel and cost: covered
85% local travel and 15% Overnight travel
Requirements:
US Citizen or Greencard holder only, no sponsership available
3-5+ years of hands-on installation, commissioning, testing, and repairing of 10KV-500KV Substation transformer equipment.
Proven leadership experience coordinating and leading crew on electrical project installation.
Experience working with power utility customers and companies.
Reading of electrical drawings and schematics, and SCADA
Hands on operating test equipment: CB timers, power factor, TTR, conductor, CT testers, and Megger.
Responsibilities:
Perform field service operations that present usual or unusual problems requiring solid technical skills.
Execute troubleshooting, testing both visual and hands on, and supervise the installation and commissioning of high-voltage substation equipment (69kV through 550kV)
Supervise electricians and contractors.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-voltage equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment (Transformer, Swithgears, Breakers and/or Swithgears.
Hands on and reporting of field tests such as electrical tests, SF6 leak detection, gas analysis, timing, power factor, and contact resistance.
Compile and evaluate data to determine and resolve operating problems or malfunctions.
Conduct inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repairs and assist in determining resource requirements.
Develop recommendations and prepare written reports.
Maintain detailed records and logs.
Recommend changes such as new equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
