Field Service Engineer (Travel)

Description:

The field engineer will travel to various job sites to install, service and test the proprietary equipment. Consultant will utilize mechanical and electrical aptitude to troubleshoot and provide customer solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer site start-up and commissioning of equipment.

• Provide training to customer personnel on the usage and maintenance of the equipment.

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Perform equipment assessments.

• Coordinate with the factory to retrofit any parts or assemblies on site.

• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues that may arise on the equipment.

• Represent the company in meetings with respective customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or related field

• Hands on experience with PLCs/controls (will consider internship/co-op or military experience)

• Must be willing to travel upwards of 60% annually (overnight travel)
